Meet Richard Henry, he’s only been running for a short year but in that time he’s not only transformed his perceptions of what can be possible but his entire body as well. Richard’s journey to a healthier him started prior to enlisting in his very first No Boundaries training group. He had already embraced better lifestyle choices to lose weight but he wanted to really dedicate himself to fitness and set concrete goals. 

He decided to give running a shot and began with a goal to just complete one 5k distance. But the momentum picked up and he soon became a regular at training groups, working his way up all the way to the marathon distance! What’s more is as his logging of the miles grew so did his knowledge of the sport; soon the tables were turned and it was him giving advice to the newer members. “He is usually one of the last people to leave any training day and he is highly supportive of people of every level. You see him giving his own experiences and advice to other runners who are now new to running…and I consider him a big inspiration to me and others,” shares one of the No Boundaries Team Mentors. 

In a sport where enthusiasm and motivation is paramount, Richard certainly has defined himself as a runner with a purpose. Not just in that he continues to set and strive for new and higher goals (toying with the idea of ultra-marathons even!) but he passes on his passion of running to others. 

In embracing a healthier, fleeter-footed self Richard also learned the sense of accomplishment that comes from hard work and dedication, “He owns an awards company, but until he won his first medal didn’t really know what an award could mean to someone.”

Why choose us for your training needs?

  • Our coaches are store employees that have a desire to help, mentor, and lead new and experienced runners to reach their goals, while sharing their knowledge and passion along the way.
  • Most local programs only have twice weekly group workouts, ours are THREE (half/full marathon).
  • Our programs max out at 45 participants (No Boundaries/Next Steps) and 100 participants (half marathon/full).  With us you're an individual, not just another runner or number.
  • We offer the regions only Ultra Marathon (50k/50 miler) group training program.

2012 Ultra Trail Team announced

The CEO of Fleet Feet, Incorporated, Tom Raynor, will be inducted into the National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA) Hall of Fame at a ceremony tomorrow, during the 47th Annual NSGA Management Conference.  The NSGA has honored Sporting Goods leaders since 1956 but this year’s inductees bring the total number of Hall of Famers to only 150.

Often, the first step is the hardest, and that's why No Boundaries was created.  This program is your first step to a new and healthier lifestyle. No Boundaries is about helping you walk/walk-run/run your first 5K (3.1 miles) and to create healthy lifestyle habits in a fun group setting. 

No Boundaries Fall Training Program Details

  • Begins Saturday, January 21st and runs thru March 25th -Nutrition Fuels Fitness 5K
  • Registration is currently open
  • A complete 9 week training program with detailed workouts
  • Twice weekly groups workouts (6:00pm Wednesdays & 8am Saturdays)
  • Group meets in Roseville at Sculpture Park
  • Limited to 45 participants
  • A plan for everyone: walkers, walk-runners, runners
